The International Aerospace Innovation Forum (IAIF) 2026 was held on April 13 and 14, 2026, in Montréal, marking an important milestone in global collaboration by bringing together industry leaders, innovators and decision-makers around the theme: BEYOND TECHNOLOGY: From idea to adoption.

This 10th edition, now a flagship event in Canada, featured strategic discussions that went far beyond showcasing aerospace advancements. It placed a strong emphasis on redefining partnerships, sharing knowledge and exploring how ecosystems can work together to accelerate innovation.

In a context shaped by growing geopolitical challenges and significant industry transformations, the Forum explored new models of cooperation to strengthen resilience, secure value chains and support sustainable growth at the international level.

The International Aerospace Innovation Forum 2026, organized by Aéro Montréal, was held on April 13 and 14, 2026, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.

This edition marked an important milestone in the evolution of the event:

    • The 10th edition of the Forum, confirming its role as a must-attend event for the industry
    • The 20th anniversary of Aéro Montréal
    • Germany as the country of honour, strengthening strategic collaboration around emerging technologies, defense, sustainability and bilateral partnerships

Over two days, the Forum delivered a rich and structured program for the ecosystem:

  • Expert conferences and panel discussions
  • Roundtables and specialized workshops
  • Two luncheon conferences
  • An exhibition area featuring over 230 exhibitors
  • An interactive Tech Zone
  • Networking cocktails and targeted B2B meetings
  • An immersive audiovisual cocktail retracing over 100 years of Québec’s aerospace history

The event brought together over 1,600 participants, including:

  • 2,500 scheduled B2B meetings
  • 286 companies participating in B2B activities
  • 550 participants in B2B sessions
  • Delegations from 11 countries

This 10th edition also highlighted Espace Aéro, Québec’s aerospace innovation zone, and its structuring role in strengthening collaboration and enhancing the ecosystem’s visibility at both the local and international levels.

It also featured the presentation of the Innovation Recognition Awards (Germany & Canada), along with a forward-looking reflection on the industry’s outlook toward 2040.

In a context shaped by evolving geopolitical dynamics, these discussions contributed to identifying concrete pathways to strengthen the resilience, competitiveness and innovation of the aerospace industry.
